My dollmaking career
began many years ago as a young child growing up in Southern
California. The first doll I made was a fairy inspired by nature. The
flowers of the California Fuchsia, when plucked, turned upside down,
and twirled between two fingers are very reminiscent of delightful
dancing fairies. Serendipitous moments like this have been a guiding
force for my creativity. Today I gather much of my inspiration from
exploring my femininity, and motherhood.
I hope you
enjoy browsing this web site, where you will find a few examples of
my dollmaking, artist workshop information, and hand dyed mohair and
silks designed exclusively for dollmakers. Thank you for taking a peek! |
